The Russian-Norwegian soprano, Elizaveta Agrafenina studies at the Conservatory of Amsterdam with Sasja Hunnego. She has recently studied with Monica Groop at the Sibelius Academy in Finland and with Neil Mackie at University of Agder in Norway. 

This year (2017) she is engaged in various opera productions. First off as Mademoiselle Silberklang (Die Schauspieldirektor by Mozart), then Papagena (Die Zauberflöte by Mozart) and Anna (Nabucco by Verdi) at various stages in The Netherlands and Belgium.

Elizaveta is part of «Young Voices» a talent program at the Bergen National Opera in Norway. Together with Tyrone Landau (UK), they are planning an exciting program which will be presented in 2017.

For the season 2015/2016, she was a part of «Hojotoho Operastudio» in Amsterdam with Wiebke Göetjes as the director. The roles for that season included; Suor Genovieffa (Suor Angelica by Puccini), Papagena (Die Zauberflöte by Mozart) and Sandmännchen/Taumann (Hänsel und Gretel by Humperdinck). Besides doing the traditional opera repertoire, Elizaveta had a main part in a new composed opera «Over» by Rick van Veldhuizen, for the Opera Forward Festival 2016 at the Dutch National Opera.

As a soloist Elizaveta has done many recitals/concerts/oratories in Norway, Netherlands, Hungury, Poland, Sweden, Finland and in December 2015 she was touring with the pianist Stephan Harsono in Indonesia with SMM Yogyakarta Orchestra. 


She has followed courses and masterclasses with Sir Thomas Allen (UK), Ira Siff (USA), Rachel Nicholls (UK), Margreet Honig (NL), Jeff Cohen (FR), Garbriele Fontana (AU), Collin Hansen (FIN), Jeanette Favaro-Reuter (GER), Júlia Pászthy (HUN), Petteri Saloma (FIN), Ilmo Ranta (FIN), Gustav Djupsjöback (FIN) and Wiebke Göetjes (NL). She has worked with conductors such as Rolf Gupta (NO), Andrew Wilder (NO), Marianne Sødal Misje (NO), Masaaki Suzuki (JAP), Magnus Loddgard (NO), Peter Szilvay (NO),  Salvatore Cicero (SUI) and Wim Dijkstra (NL).
